Headliner SHANNON LAVERTY
Shannon Laverty is a veteran stand-up comic hailing from the plains of Saskatchewan. She is a 5-time Canadian Comedy Award nominee and voted top host by Glenn Sumi in NOW Magazine. Shannon has performed across Canada and South Africa. She has also worked in Germany, the Dominican Republic and the US. Laverty was thrilled to work with Dana Carvey and Louis C K. A show she will never forget is Massey Hall in Toronto for New Year's Eve, working with Robert Klein.
She is a featured performer on A Little Sketchy TV (NTD TV). You can also hear her on Sirius XM channels: Just for Laughs Canada. Raw Dog and She's so funny in the USA. Shannon's other TV and Radio credits include Laugh out Loud (CBC RADIO), and Winnipeg Comedy Fest. MC Casey Corbin
Even in a pandemic, Casey has managed to keep his career moving forward. In January of 2021 he appeared in the Just For Laughs produced Humour Resources with Jon Dore. Also in the episode were the Lucas Brothers and Nikki Glaser. The show aired nationwide on CBC. Now it can be seen streaming on CBC Gem. With 4 comedy albums on Spotify, Casey had a breakthrough year as a Spotify Artist. Here are some of his Spotify numbers

Pre-pandemic (2017-2019) The last few years have been fantastic for Casey Corbin. With highlights that include performing at a sold-out National Arts Centre in Ottawa, Canada opening for Mr. D himself, Gerry Dee. Having a 9-show run at Just For Laughs Toronto festival, JFL 42. This included 4 sold-out shows at the Royal Theatre sharing the stage with friend Rory Scovel and one time with a surprise special guest, Amy Schumer. Worked with his comedy hero, the late great Norm MacDonald for 6 sold-out shows in Calgary. Opening for Canadian comedy legend Ron James. As well as competing in the 8th annual Brantford Comedy Festival and winning its grand prize of $10,000. If that wasn’t enough, he launched a wrestling/ comedy podcast with Never Sleeps Network that airs weekly on iTunes/Spotify titled Talk’N Wrestling.
Before 2017 Casey Corbin had accomplished plenty. An hour special on the Comedy Network, The Comedy Network Presents: Casey Corbin Comedy Now, Uncensored. Along with that is a half-hour special that aired on CTV called Comedy Now. He’s also been seen on CBC’s Halifax Comedyfest and even Comedy At Club 54. (but that was a long time ago)
He’s a regular on SiriusXM Just For Laughs Canada and has also been heard on CBC One on Laugh Out Loud. He has performed at the 25th Anniversary of Just For Laughs and toured with them in support of Harland Williams on his 2005 Tasty Treats Tour.
Featuring Cameron Phoenix
Before becoming a staple of the Toronto comedy scene, Cameron Phoenix spent time honing his craft in Montreal and the UK, winning the prestigious King Gong Competition at the Comedy Store. He has done the Edinburgh Fringe as well as Just For Laughs (Both Montreal and Toronto). He currently produces The Gong Show at the Comedy Bar and is one-half of the successful Twitch stream Little Dinky News. Cameron was a finalist in the JFL Stand-Up and Pitch program. He has opened for Colin Mochrie numerous times and will be recording with JFL Originals as part of JFL Toronto 2023.
