CAG is pleased to present our first of a series of workshops for the 2025 season. Treat yourself to a new or progressive learning experience in linocut block printing.

Susan Munderich, the Juror’s Choice recipient of CAG’s 2024 juried show with her block print, “Jumping Mouse”, will be the instructor for the afternoon workshop. She explains:
“Linocut is a type of relief printing that involves carving away the negative areas in a design, applying ink to the raised areas of the block, and burnishing paper placed over the block to pull a print. It can also be called block printing.”

Susan is both an accomplished artist in printmaking and a public school teacher who enjoys using her teaching skills to detail her printmaking process. Be prepared for Susan’s enthusiasm and your own personal accomplishment!

Please come prepeared with sketches for a simple 4"x6" composition - details will be emailed after registration. This will be the perfect size to print your own 5"x7" greeting cards.

Space is limited to 12 participants and a minimum of 6 participants is required for the workshop to run.
