Nine beautiful gardens of various sizes will be featured both in town and in Port Hope’s countryside. Thank you to our garden owners, our many volunteers and our sponsors who made the event such a success. These funds contribute to the restoration, conservation, and preservation of the historic buildings in Port Hope. All committee members are volunteers and all proceeds go to the Port Hope Heritage Foundation.
Thank you in advance for wearing low-heeled walking shoes, and for not bringing pets, strollers of food into the gardens. There will be stone steps, rockeries, sloping uneven lawns and patios (some lovely photos below), among other features that may not be suitable to navigate for those with mobility issues.
