Have you been thinking about beekeeping, but really don't have an idea of where to start, the equipment you'll need, or what the costs will be? Before you order your bees, this is the workshop for you!

Subject Matter:

Our beekeepers John and Dana will guide you through all the basics, what you will need to know, what to expect for your first year of beekeeping and beyond. They can answer any questions you may have, in order to get a better picture of what your beekeeping experience will entail. You will get a basic knowledge of the inner workings of the hive, bees and all the equipment.

This is a great workshop for those who are leaning towards beekeeping, who would like to learn before jumping into the hands on experience.  From this, you can feel more comfortable ordering your bees and beekeeping equipment to truly begin this fantastic hobby. We also highly recommend the interactive workshops that begin in April as follow ups throughout the year.

Time: 9:30am - 12:30pm

All Workshops take place at Dancing Bee Equipment, located one hour east of Toronto.
